News and Updates: What’s New at Testomato

That’s why we’re always busy behind the scenes, working on things to make Testomato faster, better, and more effective.

Here are some of those changes, ready for you to use!

CSRF protection support in monitoring behind login

Up until now, Testomato’s monitoring behind login was limited only to login forms that aren’t protected against CSRF.

CSRF (Cross-site request forgery) vulnerability allows a possible attacker to trick the user to perform unwanted actions on a website he trusts. With the changes we’ve introduced to support CSRF, you can now be protected against this kind of attack and still use Testomato for testing.

A more powerful API

You asked, we listened!

Testomato’s API was originally intended for starting checks and getting results for your continuous integration tools. From now on, you can also manage users of projects (share a project or see who else is already sharing a project with you).

Adding many similar checks can be really time consuming, so now you can use Testomato’s API also for adding checks – saving yourself time and headaches!

Data Export

You can now export all information connected to your projects, including all checks, all groups, and all data from monitoring behind login. And all it takes is the click of a button!
