Happy New Year: The Highlights of 2014
The year is almost over! We accomplished a lot of our goals in 2014, and as the year draws to a close, we wanted to take this opportunity to take a step back and reflect.
First of all, thank you for all the thoughtful feedback and support over the last year. You’ve helped us grow as a project and as a team – and we’re truly grateful!
For our final post of the year, we’d like to highlight some of the awesome things that happened in 2014.
It was a big year for tests.
That’s right. We ran 750,000,000 tests in 2014!
And that’s not all!
Here are some other fun stats from the year:
- We sent almost 100, 000 problem reports.
- The amount of opened reports tripled during 2014.
- We added 139,066 lines and removed 79,135 lines from Testomato.
- We added 8,628 lines and removed 6,538 lines from Minicrawler.
We received amazing feedback from you!
As you know, user feedback is a big part of our development process, and we’re always listening to our community to learn about how we can make Testomato better.
For example, we put together a short email survey at the beginning of the year and sent it out to all of our users asking them to vote on a feature they wanted. Based on the answers we got back from you, we decided to create the Testomato Chrome extension!
Here are the other features we implemented this year as a result of your feedback:
- Password-protected area testing
- Random form values
- Duplicate tests
- Support for HTTP authentication
New features helped us move forward as a service.
We’ve grown a lot this year! There were a lot of tasks we wanted to finish and goals we wanted to reach, and for the most part, we made it.
Here’s a look at some of the biggest changes we made:
- We created Testomato Reports to give you better insight into your test data.
- Severity level of alerts for notifications to opt out of emails for non-critical issues.
-
Email notification delay to help you avoid receiving alerts for issues that have already been resolved.
-
We added a second testing location in Chicago to help us improve the quality of our tests!
The Testomato Help Docs for better support.
To make sure our users have easy access to support and a convenient way to learn more about Testomato, we created the Testomato Help Docs.
Our help docs contains answers to the most commonly asked questions broken down by category.
Of course, we’re always available to help you with any issues, questions, or suggestions you have at support@testomato.com.
Hello, 2015!
There are some great new additions coming soon, and we can’t wait to share them with you. We want 2015 to be the best year yet!
Thank you again for being part of another great year! None of this would have been possible without you.
Happy New Year from all of us here at Testomato!
